Udinese have announced the signing of Lazar Samardgic from RB Leipzig on a five-year contract.

After Italian media said Udinese was in talks to bring the 19-year-old attacking midfielder. And most recently on Thursday, the Serie A club officially announced the signing of Samardgic.

In a statement the Italian club said the 19-year-old had signed a contract until the middle of 2026. Which Italian media believe would cost around €3 million. 

Samardgic came from Hertha Berlin’s youth team before being brought in by Leipzig for 500,000 euros last year. But returned to the field only 9 matches.

The playing position of the 19-year-old is the attacking midfielder behind the striker. but can be rocked to play along the left side of the path as well
