Spurs manager Nuno Espirito Santo was delighted with his side’s 2-1 win over Aston Villa, pointing to a well deserved three-point streak.

Spurs were in poor form, losing three in a row against Crystal Palace, Chelsea and Arsenal, but managed to win again before the international break by narrowly beating Villa. 

The Portuguese coach said: “Good, good, good. We want to win. But it was a worthy victory. We played really well against fanged opponents.”

“It’s important to us, the players and the fans, we responded well after conceding goals and a lot of positives happened.”

“The players are doing well, Villa are a very good team. with the press So it depends on the risk. Our offensive three are always in the middle. They play well together.”
